| I began using the camera professionally in 2002 when I photographed the Japanese gardens of Kyoto. In 2004 I displayed nine images from this trip at the San Diego Hospice "An Exhibition of Fine Art". I won 1st and 3rd place in the popular vote, and sold several framed images. This was a truly rewarding and validating experience that inspired me to pursue a career in photography. I then explored the art of studio lighting and soon found my niche in product photography. I enjoy the challenge of product photography and the feeling of reward when my clients tell me how much they love the images I provide them. Even though I specialize in product photography, I take pleasure in other areas as well, as shown in my Portfolio. Enjoy, Jared Nelson |
